About the role

The Team Coordinator works closely with the Authority’s Information and Technology (I&T) leaders and their teams to deliver digital services by providing:

  • Coordination of team events and activities.
  • Project coordination of minor IT Projects.
  • Basic change management practices, including team and project communications from the I&T team.
  • Support of team activities, e.g., facilitation of change control meetings, checking of payments being made etc.


The role is fixed term until June 2024


What we’re looking for

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Strong communication skills for engaging with people, delivering written messages, and preparing basic reports.
  • Basic skills or experience in project coordination and change management, or an interest in developing these.
  • Experience organising, facilitating, and supporting workshops, meetings, and team events.
  • An interest in developing a career in information technology or related professions.

The Civil Aviation Authority National Office is usually located in modern offices opposite the Wellington railway station. As a result of remedial earthquake strengthening work that needs to take place, our National office staff are currently working remotely and in temporary offices in central Wellington.,
