About the Role

We're looking for a Senior Test Analyst to join our Business Transformation Programme and play a key role in ensuring new technology solutions are fit for purpose, reliable and ready for use across the organisation.

Working across a range of transformation initiatives, you'll help embed quality throughout the delivery lifecycle by planning, coordinating and executing testing activities that support successful project outcomes. You'll work closely with business experts, delivery teams and vendors to validate solutions, identify risks and provide confidence that systems meet business needs.

This role offers the opportunity to influence how technology is delivered at CAA while contributing to a significant programme of organisational change that will shape the future of our services and operations.

We are building a team to deliver a significant transformation that will shape the future of the organisation and the aviation sector. With strong executive support and a clear mandate for change, this is an opportunity to work on genuine transformation — not simply improve existing processes or deliver business as usual.

These roles are initially offered on a one-year fixed-term basis while the business case progresses through approval. We recognise that means taking a degree of risk. But for the right person, it is also a chance to get involved at the point where the programme is being shaped, make a meaningful contribution and work on a transformation that is genuinely important.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver testing activities across multiple projects and workstreams.
• Develop test cases, scenarios and test plans that support quality outcomes.
• Execute testing, analyse results and manage defects through to resolution.
• Identify and communicate testing risks, issues and dependencies.
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to validate requirements and solutions.
• Produce clear testing metrics, reporting and quality assurance documentation.
• Support successful project delivery and transition of solutions into business operations.

The salary band for this role is $98,689 - $120,941. Starting salaries are based on knowledge, skills and experience the successful candidate brings to the role, as well as internal relativities.

What You'll Bring

You'll be an experienced testing professional who enjoys solving complex problems and working collaboratively to deliver high-quality outcomes. You'll bring a strong understanding of testing methodologies, excellent stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to provide confidence that technology solutions meet business expectations.

To succeed in this role you'll demonstrate:

• Experience delivering testing activities across complex technology projects.
• Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools and quality assurance practices.
• Experience developing and executing functional and non-functional test scenarios.
• Knowledge of Agile delivery environments and behaviour-driven testing approaches.
• The ability to identify risks, analyse issues and implement practical solutions.
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills and the confidence to work across all levels of an organisation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including clear reporting and documentation.
• Experience working with modern cloud-based technology environments and delivery teams.
