About the role

 

This exciting opportunity provides cover for a team member undertaking an 18-month secondment and offers the chance to contribute at a senior level within CAA’s Quality and Assurance Oversight team. The role delivers expert advice and thought leadership to strengthen CAA’s quality and assurance oversight capability, while supporting the delivery and continuous improvement of activities aligned to international standards and best practice principles.

 

Responsibilities include overseeing the assurance programme, undertaking risk-based, intelligence-led assessments, and using data and insights to ensure systems are effective, measurable, and fit for purpose. The position also involves developing and maintaining quality management and document control systems, identifying improvement opportunities, and supporting enhanced quality and assurance oversight frameworks.

 

The salary band starts at $115,536 to $141,751 Starting salaries are to be based on knowledge, skills and experience the successful candidate brings to the role, as well as internal relativities.

 

About you

 

What makes you a great fit:

 

  • Significant experience in quality, assurance, audit, risk, or oversight roles within a regulatory, public sector, or similar environment.
  • Strong knowledge of quality management systems and assurance frameworks, including experience with IOS standards, and a solid understanding of industry best practice.
  • Proven ability to lead and oversee assurance activities, including planning, execution and reporting.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide trusted advice and the ability to influence when needed.
  • Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interpret complex information and deliver practical solutions.
  • A collaborative approach with a proven ability to build strong internal and external stakeholder relationships.
  • High levels of integrity and professional judgement.
