About the role
We’re looking for a Principal Advisor, Psychosocial Risk and Wellbeing to lead the organisation’s approach to psychosocial risk management and wellbeing support.
Working within our broader health, safety and wellbeing critical risk framework, this role will establish an organisation-wide approach that strengthens how psychosocial risks are identified, assessed, managed and monitored. The focus is on moving from a primarily responsive model to one that is more preventative, systemic and embedded in the way we work.
Working in close partnership with the Health and Safety team, you will shape the framework, implementation approach, reporting and supporting tools needed to establish this work and position it for long-term success. A key part of the role will be ensuring existing wellbeing interventions are aligned within the broader framework.
Working with leaders, teams, specialist functions and employee forums, you will embed a consistent and practical approach to psychosocial risk management across our culture, leadership capability, systems and ways of working.
The salary band for this role is $136,939 to $168,191. Starting salaries are based on knowledge, skills and experience the successful candidate brings to the role, as well as internal relativities.
What You’ll Bring
You’ll bring proven experience in senior health, safety and wellbeing roles, with deep expertise in critical HSW risk management, including psychosocial risk, at an enterprise level. To succeed in this role, you’ll demonstrate:
- Experience designing and implementing psychosocial risk management frameworks using preventative, system-based approaches
- Sound knowledge of NZ health and safety legislation and critical risk management
- Proven ability to lead programmes of work and deliver practical frameworks, tools, and reporting
