About the role
Avsec have an opportunity for a suitably-experienced person to take over the day to day management of Avsec’s maintenance and logistics support processes and procedures. This is a unique role, responsible for ensuring availability of critical security equipment across New Zealand, to ensure passenger safety.
We are looking to build a highly responsive and proactive approach to support issues and incidences. The Maintenance Management Senior Specialist will manage the relationship between the operational side of the business, and their concerns over equipment and third-party vendors. They will carry out operational management of Avsec’s security equipment vendors, managing the services they provide and their delivery performance.
The Maintenance Management Senior Specialist will:
- Be responsible for a range of different technologies
- Ensure appropriate maintenance agreements are in place
- Manage in-service components of maintenance agreements
- Carry out trend analysis of incidents/faults on site and fleet equipment
They will also have the opportunity to develop and establish support practices.
About you
As the interface between front-line operations teams and vendors we are looking for someone with the ability to build effective working relationships. Being able to manage expectations on all sides is important, as is influencing others to get appropriate outcomes in a timely manner.
We are ideally looking for a technical background in field service engineering.
You will need to be able to obtain and maintain a Confidential-level security clearance and be either a NZ citizen or NZ permanent resident.
