About the role
The Coordinator, Regulatory Policy sits within the Rules, Exemptions and Guidance team and provides administrative and coordination support across the wider Strategy, Policy and International Engagement group. This includes providing coordination and planning support for project work such as rules and regulatory policy development and will be responsible for:
- Supporting the day-to-day functioning of the team including organising meetings and taking minutes, travel coordination and drafting routine correspondence.
- Maintaining and updating team procedures, including forms and supporting documents.
- Conducting quality review of rules, exemptions and guidance documents, including proof reading and formatting.
- Coordination of responses from the Strategy, Policy and International Engagement team on Ministerial, Select Committee and Parliamentary questions.
The salary band for this position starts at $64,342 to a maximum of $88,956. Starting salaries are based on knowledge, skills and experience the successful candidate brings to the role, as well as internal relativities.
What You’ll Bring
- Proven experience in a busy administrative role with a variety of complex administrative tasks.
- Demonstrated customer-centric approach, with an ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders in a confident manner.
- Possess a strong work ethic, high accuracy and attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective relationships.
- Sound judgement and confidence to question and challenge when appropriate.
- Well-developed planning and organising skills, including the ability to prioritise tasks effectively and work under pressure.
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills.
- High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Visio and Project would be an advantage.
- An understanding and interest within policy and government processes would be an advantage, but is not necessary.
