About the role

 

You will provide vital coordination, administrative, and systems support to the Learning and Capability team, supporting the delivery of learning and development initiatives across the Civil Aviation Authority.  

 

Working collaboratively with internal teams and external providers, you will play a key role in the smooth coordination of training programmes and associated logistics, contributing to a high-quality learner experience.  

 

You will maintain accurate learning records, support reporting requirements, and assist with the continuous improvement of learning systems and processes, ensuring learning activities are effectively communicated and well coordinated in alignment with organisational priorities. The starting salary for the Coordinator, Learning position within People Capability Group is between $65,340 and maximum of $79,560.  Starting salaries are to be based on knowledge, skills and experience the successful candidate brings to the role, as well as internal relativities.

 

 

What You’ll Bring

 

You’ll ideally be someone who can learn new systems quickly, thrives in a varied environment, is highly organised, and has a strong customer focus. You’ll enjoy collaborating with others, as you will regularly engage with internal teams and external providers. Strong communication, administrative, and coordination skills will set you up well for this role, especially if you have experience in a compliance or regulatory environment.

 

To be considered you will need:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • A continuous improvement mindset with the ability to identify and implement enhancements to learning processes and systems.
  • The ability to develop effective working relationships, maintaining trust and credibility with people at all levels.
  • Experience working collaboratively across teams and supporting capability-building initiatives.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing needs in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong administrative skills including procurement, travel coordination, and meeting support.
  • Experience coordinating learning and development programmes and events.
  • Previous experience in administering Learning Management Systems (e.g., SAP SuccessFactors) and other relevant software (e.g., SharePoint, Articulate Storyline) is advantageous, but not essential.
