About the role
As an Advisor, People, you will play a critical role within our People Partnering Team who support our people leaders across the organisation. You will deliver high quality, pragmatic HR advice, support and services across a broad range of people related areas including employment relations, performance management, recruitment.
You will help ensure a seamless and consistent people experience while contributing to the continuous improvement of systems, processes and practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing timely, best practice HR advice and support across a broad range of functions
- Partnering with leaders to help them navigate people maters with confidence
- Establishing strong relationships with internal stakeholders across the organisation
- Working collaboratively within the People and Capability team to deliver high-quality, customer-focused outcomes
The salary band for this role is $83,600 to $102,302. Starting salaries are based on knowledge, skills and experience the successful candidate brings to the role, as well as internal relativities.

What You’ll Bring
You’ll be a proactive and people focused HR professional with experience delivering practical, balanced advice. You bring strong judgement and a customer centric mindset to effectively collaborate at all levels.
To be successful you will have:
- Experience providing trusted HR advice to leaders across a broad range of people matters
- A good understanding of New Zealand employment law and the ability to provide guidance and advice to people leaders in the organisation
- Sound knowledge of HR best practice across the full range of HR functions with the ability to apply this in a practical way within the business environment
- Experience coaching and supporting leaders, with a focus on delivering valuable solutions
- Ability to prioritise effectively, manage competing demands and adapt to change
